My journey into the holistic health world began about 5 years ago. Unlike many, I don’t have a wild story to share, but rather in the back of my mind I always thought that the food system was broken, food should be used as medicine and that I wanted to learn as much as I could to pass along to others on their wellness path. I decided to quit my job and go back to school at Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver.

I received my Master Nutrition Therapist degree in May of 2019. Along the way, I began to heal my gut and made dietary changes that have helped to balance my hormones, heal my acne, decrease bloating/gas, and increase energy levels; all the things I just thought were going to be a part of my life.  In 2022, I became a Level 1 Restorative Wellness Practitioner.

I grew up gardening with my mom, making homemade jams and jellies, canning and pickling vegetables, digging in the dirt, boiling sap to make maple syrup. I thought this is how everybody was doing it, but come to find out it wasn’t. My goal is to dig deep, get back to our roots and then find the root cause to begin healing and find the best you through food.

In my free time, you can find me outside hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, digging in my gardens, practicing yoga, snuggling my dog, or cooking/creating new recipes.
